Our Story
GMC MEDICAL DEVELOPMENTS is a young company dedicated to the research, development and innovation of products related to the practice and training of clinical staff, as well as interventional planning.
Funded by Dr. García Mingo, a practising surgeon and an expert in phlebology. He has lectured in universities worldwide, and has previously contributed to the development of patented systems related to the practice of phlebology (Foam Medical System®, Crioven®, Varuno®.)
Supported by fellow colleagues, GMC MEDICAL DEVELOPMENTS was created with the purpose of developing new products aimed towards medical training and clinical practice, that are reasonably and sensibly priced.
In July 2020, we patented a novel transillumination system called EpiVein3D®. This articulated epi-illuminator allows working on complex anatomical regions that would be otherwise hard to reach. It has a wide range of channels, combining transillumination with ecography allowing for a complete visualisation of the venous system. It is a system that is light to hold, with long autonomy, and that is USB rechargeable. It comes equipped with accessories ready for clinical use.
GMC MEDICAL DEVELOPMENTS has created a range of POLIGMG clinical simulators. POLIGMG is the culmination of years of research and experience in the sector: it is our in-house developed thermoplastic that is tuned to have the same consistency as human tissue. Unlike other products in the market, it leaves no traces when perforated by needles or catheters. When training with our simulators, one achieves a higher level of realism, leading to practitioners that are better prepared. POLIGMG allows for extended use of our simulators, an important budgeting factor.
